Rhizopus spp. - Rhizopus fruit rot (leak)

Brief Description: A loose cottony growth of the fungus may appear over the surface of the fruit.  This growth takes on a blue-black color when the spore bearing structures of the fungus form on the white mycelium of the fungus.
