Powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca macularis) - Foliar Symptoms

Leaf Curling: The edges of heavily infected leaflets curl upward on some cultivars.

"Powdery" Mycelial Growth - Small white patches of sparse mycelia (web-like growth) grow on the undersurfaces of  leaflets in the early stage of this disease. Tiny, semi-transparent conidia give the patches a powdery appearance.
Cleistothecia (tan to dark brown spherical reproductive structures) occasionally develop on the lower leaf surface.
