Winter  - Flags in the fields mark different field trials being performed as part of the research.

Spring - Harvesting and grading fruit is in full swing during the early months of spring.

At the end of March, harvesting is complete, and the fields are sprayed with paraquat and the plastic is pulled.  During the off-season, a cover crop is often planted to hold the soil during the rainy months, add organic material to the soil and to assist in weed control.
